From the moment that we stepped in The funeral Director, who took care of us was an amazing person, her concern and thoughts for us and for our dear Natividad Diaz mom was her main priority. My 29 year-old son unexpectedly lost his battle with muscular dystrophy and March. I did not have any arrangements made so a friend from out of state made calls to all the facilities in the area in an effort to locate the best one for me. After making numerous calls and talking about it she said that MacDonald seemed to have the best price for what I was looking for - which was just straight cremation with no services, per my son's wishes - as well as the best customer service. Despite living in Pasco County and there being many facilities closer, I made the choice to go there and I was absolutely not disappointed with my decision! I cannot say enough positive things about McDonald and most especially Ron. He handled everything from beginning to end with kindness, compassion and patience. I would highly recommend MacDonald to anyone in the Tampa Bay area in need of funeral or creamation services.

The reason is because the people here are absolutely amazing! The all around kindness was evident. Even though no one ever wants to need a funeral home the fact is we do and I couldn't have been more pleased with a place at the time of the absolute worst moments of my life thus far than I was with McDonald's Funeral home. They even brought me my daughters ashes in a temporary container until the urn was ready because they could sense I was distraught by the possible wait of a day or 2. Again, VERY AMAZING AND KIND. I can't say enough about the compassion and professionalism our family was given at MacDonald Funeral Home upon my wife's passing on July 3rd. Owner Lowell and Funeral Director Advisor Ron had to quickly make arrangements happen with their funeral home for a visitation, the church for a mass and the memorial location for burial services. in a very short window of three days, being everything is closed on the 4th, they completely took care of all arrangements for us. This greatly put our minds at ease during a very difficult time for our family. They are a small family owned funeral home, not owned by a large corporation, and you can definitely feel the personal warmth from everyone at MacDonald Funeral Home. Coming from a small town in NY which had these type of funeral homes back in the day, it was refreshing to find that such a place still exists.
